  1. Student Affairs has created a general web page with information and links designed to assist faculty, students, and staff with crisis management.  Here are the links for future reference:  http://www.studentaffairs.ucla.edu/crisismanagement/index.html.

  2. A Resource Guide for Students in Financial Distress: can be found at the Resources for Students in Financial Distress section of the website.

  3. Counseling and Psychological Services professionals are available to provide immediate assessment and intervention for students faced with an emotional crisis or concern that feels too overwhelming to wait for a regularly scheduled appointment.

  4. Counseling and Psychological Services also offers free training for faculty and staff.  Log on to http://skillnet.chr.ucla.edu and search for one of two upcoming training sessions titled Responding to Distressed and Distressing Students or QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Certification.

For any emergency, please call UCPD by dialing 911 from an on-campus phone or (310) 825-1491 from a cell phone.
