Once upon a time, there were a lot of little frogs living in a swamp that surrounds a tall tower. One day, they decided to have a contest to see which of them could climb the great tower. So all the fastest frogs dared to accomplish what none before have ever done, to climb the tower.

A big crowd gathered around the tower to see the race and to cheer on the contestants… and the race began.

But honestly, no one really believed any of the frogs could do it. After all, they were just frogs and the tower was too high. They were all saying statements such as:

“The tower is way too high, it’s impossible.”

“They will never make it to the top.”

“I bet they can’t even make it halfway.”

One by one, the frogs started collapsing. They gave in to the beliefs of the people around them, that they couldn’t conquer this giant tower.

                The crowd continued to yell:

“Not long now till all of them drop.”

More of the tiny frogs gave up, they all fell back to where they started from, the bottom of the swamp. ..

But ONE little frog continued higher and higher… This one wouldn’t give up!

At the end, everyone else had given up, and he was the only one left climbing…  After a momentous effort, he finally did what was thought impossible; he had conquered the great tower.

Naturally, all the other frogs wanted to know how he did it, so they asked him…

It turns out that the frog was DEAF. He didn’t hear all the pessimistic statements everyone around him was saying. He was immune to their negativity…  and just believed in himself that he could do it...

Moral of the story is: Never listen to other people’s tendencies to be negative or pessimistic.. Because they can’t do it themselves, they want to make sure no one else can do it also.

Believe in yourself like the little frog, as he is now overlooking the lonely swamp

that he came from, and is now basking in the triumph of high achievement.

Don’t ever let yourself fall victim to the negativity of others, and stay POSITIVE!
