My favorite piece of clothing is my t-shirt from the Philippines. My grandmother bought it when she went to the Philippines. I like my t-shirt because it’s comfortable to wear for all occasions! I like to wear my t-shirt for working out, studying, or sleeping. My t-shirt goes well with my green jacket and yellow striped scarf. All of the colors and patterns really accentuate my fashion sense. I like my clothes in bright colors and cute patterns because they make me feel joyful and happy like a child. Whenever I feel tired and stressed out, I wear these clothes to make me feel better.
I think my t-shirt was made in a sweatshop in the Philippines. This is the reality of a third world, developing nation. Over there, it is difficult to survive because of the widespread poverty. To many people in the Philippines, a job can mean survival even in a sweatshop. This is truly controversial, but whenever I wear my t-shirt, I remember the hardships of the people in the Philippines.
